As a Resource Center Specialist, you will be part of a team that delivers quality support to A&B employees and its clients. Candidates who apply should be eager to develop and apply the highest standards of excellence and have a great attention to detail on all assigned tasks. Candidates will be expected to maintain open and professional communication with staff, attorneys and managers. Candidates must demonstrate flexibility in their work schedule to meet the needs of the department when additional support for projects and/or overtime is required.
The Resource Center Specialist will have a flexible remote/in-office schedule, which will consist of 2 days remote and 3 days in office. The hours of this position will be Monday through Friday, 8:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. This schedule is subject to change based on the operating needs of the firm. Essential Duties: RESPONSIBILITIES AS A RESOURCE CENTER SPECIALIST INCLUDE, BUT ARE NOT LIMITED TO

  • Providing a high level of customer service to A&B employees and its clients.
  • Creating and revising documents (Word, PowerPoint and Excel).
  • Cleaning and formatting converted documents from PDF to MS Word and applying Hyperstyles.
  • Generating Table of Contents and/or Table of Authorities.
  • Transcribing various formats of audio files utilizing the Philips SpeechExec software.
  • Preparing closing binders with a hyperlinked index.
  • Generating document comparisons with the use of Change-Pro for Word, PDF, PowerPoint & Excel.
  • Applying redlining and track changes to documents.
  • Applying bates labels, headers and footers and bookmarks to PDFs.
  • Preparing mail merge letters and labels
  • Proofreading
  • Portable Storage Requests (e.g., CDs/DVDs, thumb drives)
  • Responding to incoming work requests, logging work requests into the Cherwell Management application and assigning incoming work during the Supervisor’s absence.
  • Notary Services

Skills Needed to be Successful: SKILLS NEEDED TO BE SUCCESSFUL
The Resource Center Specialist will be expected to maintain exceptional organizational skills; have the ability to listen to and communicate effectively with others; be committed to supporting and interacting with clients and staff at all organizational levels of the firm; have the ability to manage time well, prioritize effectively, and handle multiple deadlines; advanced attention to detail and ability to create an accurate work product; strong knowledge with Microsoft Office required and attend training classes regularly to maintain an acceptable level of performance with the Firm’s technology.

Ability to understand procedures and instructions specific to the area of assignment as would be acquired during four years of high school. Associates or bachelor’s Degree is not required but preferred. Previous experience of 2-5 years in a related environment.
